Reshape the Nation Diet

I'm doing three months of the Reshape the Nation diet, started by Chris Powell, and blogging here, including updates and reviews of the program and other fitspo for my weight loss and health journey!

I wish I looked this happy doing push-ups! I am sooooo sore from working out… my shoulders, chest, thighs, everything hurts!

I had some delicious food today though- oatmeal, yogurt, 2 protein shakes, steak and potatoes for dinner. It’s a hi-carb day, and also a reward day but I didn’t have a reward because last night at the movies I had some candy. 

Anyway, hope you all had a good healthy day!

Fitspo for the day: Hope Solo

This morning’s metaboost was actually a fitness test where you do as many repetitions as you can of push ups, sit-ups, and squats in 2 minutes. The program has you re-do it every few weeks so you can see how much your fitness is improving throughout the program. Pretty cool! My starting numbers are pretty abysmal, especially for sit-ups! But I can only go up, right?

Had oatmeal and greek yogurt for breakfast, having a mid-morning protein shake in an hour or so! Hope you’re all enjoying the holiday :)

Checking In

Hello, happy Sunday!

Well I weighed in this morning just to see how things are going and I’m down 2 lbs since I started the program. So that was a nice piece of motivation to see this morning!

Then I went to the gym and had a horrible run, but oh well, at least I ran. I wanted to do 2 miles but only made it 1.4. But I walked another 1.5 so it was a pretty good workout anyway. 

I’m excited about my meals today! Two chocolate shakes, chicken, yogurt, and for dinner my favorite— steak and potatoes! It’s also a reward day, so I’m going to get something soon.
